National Environmental Management: Protected Areas Act (57/2003): Intention to Declare a Protected Environment, Intention to declare an area as part of an Existing Protected Environment and Intention to declare a Nature Reserve

The MEC for the Department of Economic Development, Environment and Tourism in Mpumalanga Province has given notice of her intention to declare the following protected environments in terms of section 28(1)(a)(i) of the National Environmental Management: Protected Areas Act 57 of 2003 and a nature reserve in terms of section 23 of the Act - The Mabola Protected Environment, located within the Pixley ka Seme Local Municipality; The Mndawe Trust Protected Environment, located within the Thaba Chweu Local Municipality; An area as part of the existing Kwamandlangampisi Protected Environment; located in the Pixley ka Seme Local Municipality and Mkhondo Local Municipality and The Tafelkop Private Nature Reserve, located within the Pixley ka Seme Local Municipality.
