National Environmental Management: Biodiversity Act (10/2004): Publication of Prohibited Alien Species.

The Minister for Water and Environmental Affairs has, in terms section 67(1) of the National Environmental Management: Biodiversity Act 10 of 2004, published a list of alien species in respect of which a permit, in terms of section 65(1) of the Act, may not be issued.

Water Act (36/1998): Disestablishment of the Usuthu-Mhlathuze Catchment Management Agency in Kwa-Zulu Natal Province

The Minister of Water and Environmental Affairs has given notice of the disestablishment of the Usuthu- Mhlathuze Catchment Management Agency in terms of section 88(1)(a) of the National Water Act 36 of 1998 and the transfer of all assets, liabilities, powers and duties and staff of the Inkomati catchment management agency to Inkomati-Usuthu catchment management agency.
