The Minister of Mineral Resources has, under section 98(1) of the Mine Health and Safety Act 29 of 1996, amended chapter 8 of the Machinery and Equipment Regulations published in terms of the Mine Health and Safety Act 29 of 1996 pertaining to the health and safety requirements in respect of conveyer belts.
