The Acting Minister of Environmental Affairs has in terms of section 44(aE), (aF), (aG), (aH) read with sections 24(5)(b)(ix), 24(5)(d), 24N, 24P and 24R of the NEMA, published amendments the Financial Provisioning Regulations, 2015.
The regulations have been amended by inter alia: Insertion of regulation 17B which relates to the “Extension of the transitional period”; Amendment of regulation 17(6), (7), (9), (10) and regulation 18(2) in terms of the above sub-regulations, any reference in sub-regulation 17(6), (7), (9) or (10) and regulation 18(2), to sub-regulation 17(5) must be read as a reference to sub-regulation 17A or 17B, as the case may be; and the repeal of Notice No.1314 of Government Gazette 40371 of 26 October 2016.
