Our aim is to recruit well rounded high calibre candidate attorneys, who are committed and suited to the practice of law within the diverse and multi-cultural environment at MacRobert.

What to expect from your articles

During your two year contract of articles, we expect from our Candidate Attorneys to commit to the firm, by living out our values, which are:

We aim to train candidate attorneys for their future roles as lawyers in legal practices and the legal corporate environment, by equipping them with the skills required to fulfil these positions.


Candidate attorneys’ remuneration is competitive and compares favourably with remuneration offered by other leading law firms.

When and how to apply

Applications for articles must be submitted by no later than 20 May 2024 in respect of articles commencing in January 2025. Candidates should please submit their detailed CV, certified copies of full academic records and matric certificate as well as a certified colour copy of ID document on our  MacRobert Recruitment Portal, in order to be considered for articles for 2025 (Subject: Articles 2025).
