The Provincial Minister of Local Government, Environmental Affairs and Development Planning in the Western Cape has, in terms of section 33(1)(a) of the NEM:PAA, given notice of his intention to declare the Moutonshoek Protected Environment on the properties as set out in the schedule to this notice situated in the Krom Antonies River Valley.16

WESTERN CAPE GOVERNMENT CALL FOR COMMENTS ON THE DRAFT WESTERN CAPE COASTAL MANAGEMENT PROGRAMME
The Minister for Local Government, Environmental Affairs and Development Planning in the Western Cape has given notice of his intention to adopt the Western Cape Coastal Management Programme (WCCMP) in accordance with the requirements of the NEM:ICMA, as well as the National Coastal Management Programme.16

NATIONAL WATER ACT (36/1998): ESTABLISHMENT OF THE VAAL RIVER CATCHMENT MANAGEMENT AGENCY
The Minister of Water and Sanitation has, in terms of section 78(1) of NWA, established the Vaal River Catchment Management Agency situated in the Vaal Waste Management Area.16

NATIONAL WATER ACT (36/1998): PROPOSAL FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF THE MZIMVUBU-TSITSIKAMMA CATCHMENT MANAGEMENT AGENCY
The Minister of Water and Sanitation has, in terms of section 78(3) of the NWA, proposed the establishment of a catchment management agency, situated in the Mzimvubu to Tsitsikamma water management area in the Eastern Cape and includes portions of KwaZulu-Natal, Western Cape and the Northern Cape, and that the agency be named the Mzimvubu-Tsitsikamma Catchment Management Agency.16

NATIONAL WATER ACT (36/1998): PROPOSAL FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF THE ORANGE CATCHMENT MANAGEMENT AGENCY
The Minister of Water and Sanitation has, in terms of section 78(3) of the NWA, proposed the establishment of a catchment management agency, situated in the Lower Orange Water Management Area (WMA) together with Upper Orange WMA in Western Cape; and that the agency be named the Orange Catchment Management Agency.16
