Christlynne obtained her BA degree majoring in English Language, Literature and Linguistics and further, her LLB degree, from the University of Cape Town in 2016. Thereafter, she attended the School for Legal Practice in preparation for her year-end admission exams. She has furthermore been extensively involved in a wide range of socially responsive initiatives, which include serving on the executive committee of Amnesty International UCT, participating in a Model United Nations Conference and mentoring youths participating in the LAWCO and Ubunye initiatives respectively. Christlynne credits her upbringing for her appreciation of the law and shares a particular interest in the commercial and labour law sectors, since they affect every person, be it a household or conglomerate, and have the potential to effect tangible economic distribution and very necessary socio-economic reform.
