The Acting Minister of Environmental Affairs has published the 2017 National Framework for Air Quality Management in South Africa, in terms of section 7(5) of the NEM:AQA.
The purpose of the Framework is to achieve the overall objectives of the NEM:AQA and as such provides a plan for the practical implementation of the Act. It provides norms and standards for all technical aspects of air quality management.
