NATIONAL WATER ACT (36/1998): PROPOSED REVISION OF GENERAL AUTHORISATION
The Acting Director-General of the Department of Water and Sanitation has published his intention to amend the General Authorisation contained in GNR 1199 of 18 December 2009 in respect of the water uses in terms of sections 21(c) and (i) of the NWA pertaining to impeding or diverting the flow of water in a watercourse and altering the beds, banks, course or characteristics of a watercourse respectively.15
