AGRICULTURAL PESTS ACT (36/1983): CONTROL MEASURES: AMENDMENT
The Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries has, in terms of section 6 of the Agricultural Pests Act 36 of 1983, published an amendment to the control measures to prevent and combat the spreading of pathogens, insects and exotic animals published in terms of the Act under GNR 110 of 27 January 1984, as set out in the schedule to this notice.27

ACT NO. 30 OF 2013: NATIONAL ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT LAWS SECOND AMENDMENT ACT, 2013
The President has assented to the National Environmental Management Laws Second Amendment Act 30 of 2013 which makes various amendments to the National Environmental Management Act 107 of 1998, including amendments to, inter alia, section 24G of the Act and increasing the fine payable in respect of an offence from R5 million to R10 million.27
