INTEGRATED WASTE MANAGEMENT BY-LAW

The City of Cape Town Metropolitan Municipality has amended the Integrated Waste Management By-Law as published under the Western Cape Provincial Gazette 6651 on 21 August 2009 by, inter alia, amending various definitions, including the definition for “waste”, placing obligations on accredited service providers and waste managers and imposing additional obligations in respect of hazardous waste.

The MEC of the Limpopo Department of Economic Development, Environment and Tourism has, in terms of section 23(1) of the NEM:PAA, declared the following nature reserves on the properties as set out in the schedule to this notice – D’Nyala Nature Reserve; Musina Nature Reserve; Greater Makalali Nature Reserve; Manombe Nature Reserve; Haenerstsburg Nature Reserve; Letaba Ranch.
