Yvonne obtained her LLB from the University of South Africa and served her articles of clerkship at Adele van der Walt Attorneys. She has a deep-rooted commitment to medical law, and has formed part of a number of litigation teams, in various South African High Courts, over more than a decade. Yvonne also completed an Advanced Trial Advocacy Course and Practice Management Training. Before joining Macrobert Attorneys she served as a Claims Manager for one of the world’s leading indemnity providers for healthcare professionals where she skilfully assisted to support and protect the professional reputations and integrity of doctors and dentists. Yvonne’s trial and litigation experience is coupled with her goal to better the South African healthcare system for all. Yvonne is a Senior Associate in the Professional Indemnity Department at the Pretoria office.
