Lizalise Dlomo has a strong academic foundation and has demonstrated commitment to excellence, leadership and service. She holds a Bachelor of Law (LLB) from the University of Pretoria and is currently pursuing a Master of Laws (LLM) in Procedural Law. She has demonstrated academic excellence by being on the Dean’s Merit List and has obtained membership in the Golden Key International Honour Society. She has exceptional leadership within institutional structures, serving as Chief Justice of the Constitutional Tribunal (Student Court) of the University of Pretoria, where she oversaw the functioning of the judicial arm of student governance. She previously served as an Ordinary Judge of the Tribunal, further strengthening her adjudicative and decision making skills.

She was also a mentee in the South African Chapter of the International Association of Women Judges (SAC-IAWJ) Mentorship Programme, where she was exposed to the daily operations of the criminal justice system, received career guidance and engaged in structured professional development initiatives.

In 2026, Lizalise commenced her articles at MacRobert Attorneys, in the financial recoveries division and is eager to expand her legal knowledge and skills while contributing meaningfully to the firm’s practice.
