The purpose of these Regulations is to prohibit the production, distribution, import, export, sale and use of the substances contemplated in Regulation 3, which include but are not limited to:
- Hexabromocyclododecane;
- Hexachlorobutadlene;
- Polychlorinated naphthalenes;
- Short-chain chlorinated paraffins.
Any person convicted of an offense under these Regulations is liable to either a fine or imprisonment or both.
