The Director General (Acting) of the Department of Water Affairs, has, in terms of item 6(1) of Schedule 3 to the National Water Act 36 of 1998, limited the taking of water from the Klein Olifants River upstream of the Middelburg dam, including Middelburg, to 30ML per day.
