In terms of this Notice, the Minister of Mineral Resources amends proclamation 14 of 2013 pertaining to the commencement of the Mineral and Petroleum Resources Development Amendment Act 49 of 2008, so as to exclude the commencement of sections 8(a), 8(c), 32, 38(d), 72 and 76 of such act. The effect of this is that these sections and the subsequent amendments to the Mineral and Petroleum Resources Development Act 28 of 2002 have not yet commenced.
