The Chief Inspector has, in terms of section 27(1) of the Occupational Health and Safety Act 85 of 1993, approved, with effect from 30 September 2013, the list of basic equipment required, the list of tertiary institutions for legal knowledge examination and the reporting format to be used by the occupational health and hygiene inspection authorities as is detailed in the annexures to this notice.
