The Provincial Minister of Local Government, Environmental Affairs and Development Planning Western Cape has, in terms of section 23(1) of the National Environmental Management: Protected Areas Act 57 of 2003, declared a nature reserve on various portions of the farm Grootvadersbosch Estate No. 114, situated in the Swellendam Municipality.
