The National Energy Regulator (NERSA) has, in terms of Section 34(3) of the Gas Act, 2001 made rules governing the construction, conversion of infrastructure and the operation of gas transmission, storage, distribution, liquefactions and re-gasification facilities as well as the trade of gas.
