NATIONAL ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT ACT (107/1998): PROPOSED REGULATIONS TO PHASE-OUT THE USE OF PERSISTENT ORGANIC POLLUTANTS

The Minister of Environmental Affairs has, under section 44(1)(aA) read with section 47 of the NEMA, by notice in the gazette, published proposed regulations to Phase-out the Use of Persistent Organic Pollutants.

Pursuant to this Notice, members of the public were to submit their written representations or objections to the proposed regulations to the Minister, within 30 (thirty) days of the publication of the aforementioned Notice in the Gazette.
