Johané Berry

Johané obtained her LLB degree from Stellenbosch University in 2022. In 2023, she obtained her Professional LLM in Environmental Law from the University of Cape Town. During her undergraduate studies, Johané was a beneficiary of the Allan Gray Orbis Foundation scholarship and during her postgraduate studies she received both the Wilfred Kramer Law Grant and the Dikgang Moseneke Postgraduate Fellowship. In the final year of her LLB, Johané worked as a student consultant at the Stellenbosch University Law Clinic. She also held various leadership positions during her undergraduate studies, such as the Secretary-General of the Juridical Society and the Media & Marketing Manager for both the Stellenbosch Moot Society and the Academic Affairs Council. Johané commenced her candidate attorney articleship with Macrobert in 2024 and is eager to develop her skills in Professional Indemnity Law and Mining and Environmental Law.
