The Lekwa Local Municipal Council has enacted By-Laws relating to cemeteries, which regulate inter alia, the disposal of a body; interment rights and responsibilities; burial and memorial sites and reopening of graves and exhumations within the area of the aforementioned Municipality and to provide for matters incidental thereto.
