Aadelah obtained her BCom (Law) degree in 2014 and her LLB degree in 2015 from the University of Pretoria. In 2016, Aadelah was named the national winner, in the LLB category, of the Ismail Mahomed Law Reform Competition, hosted by the South African Law Reform Commission. She began her articles at MacRobert Inc in 2016 and was appointed as an Associate in the firm’s Professional Indemnity department in 2018. During her time at MacRobert, Aadelah has gained practical experience in, inter alia, commercial litigation, family law and medico-legal matters. On a day to day basis, her duties involve assisting medical practitioners with regulatory complaints, professional conduct inquiries, general advice matters and medico-legal claims.

Hickley completed his BComm (Law) in 2009 at the University of Pretoria, which he obtained cum laude, majoring in Economics and Business Management. He subsequently obtained his LLB from the same institution and was employed by MacRobert Incorporated shortly thereafter. He has experience in corporate and commercial litigation and drafting, and has served as an associate in the Professional Indemnity Department where he gained extensive experience in complex high-end litigation. He has conducted matters in the High Court and the Magistrates’ Court on the instruction of international and local clients. He has also assisted clients in matters before regulatory boards. He has enjoyed particular exposure to the Healthcare Sector where he has provided legal and ethical advice on a range of issues.            

Hickley believes in a client-centric approach to law and is sensitive to client costs. He is passionate about dispute resolution and enjoys solving problems in a creative and efficient manner. Hickley is otherwise a director of a Non-Profit Organisation based in Pretoria. He is currently employed at the Cape Town branch of MacRobert Inc.

Jabulani graduated from the University of Johannesburg with a Bachelor's degree majoring in Political Sciences, Philosophy and Economics (BA PPE). He thereafter completed his LLB degree at the University of the Witwatersrand. While studying, Jabulani worked as a tutor and a debating coach at the South African Institute of International Affairs (SAIIA) and served as a student assistant at the Wits Law Clinic under the leadership of Professor Peter Jordi. Prior to joining MacRobert Incorporated, Jabulani served as a Judge's clerk at the High Court in Johannesburg until November 2015. He is excited about joining the firm and exploring different fields of law, particularly environmental and mining law, commercial litigation and medical law.

Kananelo studied at North-West University and graduated with a LLB degree in 2014. He became a member of the Students for Law and Social Justice (SLSJ) in 2013 and 2014.  During his studies, Kananelo was a member of the Golden Key International Honour Society and an executive member of the Black Lawyers Association in 2014. Marinda obtained the BLC and LLB degrees from the University of Pretoria. She also holds a LLM from UNISA. She was admitted as an attorney on 11 February 1992 and has been involved with medical negligence cases, complaints against practitioners and the prosecution of practitioners on instructions from the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) for most of her professional life. She also held appointments as a legal official at the Law Society and HPCSA.

She joined the MacRobert medical malpractice department in 1998 where she has been focusing on HPCSA matters.

Tsepo is an associate in MacRobert’s corporate and commercial litigation departments.  He holds an LLB cum laude from the University of the Western Cape.  He obtained first position in his class, was part of the Dean’s Top Achievers Programme and was on the Dean’s Merit list in both 2014 and 2015. In 2015, Tsepo joined MacRobert Incorporated, Cape Town as a candidate attorney in the Corporate Litigation and Medical Law Departments.

In 2017, Tsepo was admitted as an attorney of the High Court.  His practice comprises of all aspects of law, including commercial, criminal, general litigation, commercial litigation, tax-related litigation and drafting of various commercial agreements.  He has the right of appearance in the High Court and has appeared in the Magistrate’s Court and Municipal Court.  He also assists his team in matters conducted at a High Court level.  Tsepo is currently completing an LLM in Labour Law with the University of the Western Cape.

Tsepo also has an interest in competition, environmental and social security law.  He also has experience in the South African Retirement Fund Industry, dealing specifically with unclaimed benefits. Tsepo is also an avid rugby player.
